Pomme de Terre Lake
Located in south central Missouri, you will find 7,820 acre lake built in 1961 by Corps of Engineers. Although this lake is smaller in comparison to other Missouri lakes, it still offers fantastic Musky fishing. Averaging 69 feet in depth, its deepest section runs 95 feet at its deepest part. The popularity of the lake comes from the Muskie available which is managed by Missouri's Department of Conservation. All year round this type of fish can be caught and can be found up to 40 inches in length. The four marinas include Highway 83, Nemo Landing, Lighthouse Harbor and Pomme de Terre State Park.

PONY EXPRESS
Found about 25 miles west of the Conservation area of Pony Express, this lake not only offers great Musky fishing but camping, hunting, boating and other recreational activities. At its maximum depth of 29 feet, the region covers 240 acres and the conservation area expands more than 3,000 acres. Just 9 miles west of Cameron you will find these fresh water fish which are regularly stocked creating fine fisheries. Anglers may possibly be challenged for days, making the catch all the better. Shaped as a horseshoe, a popular area called the Lindley Arm is one area that attracts fishermen. Be sure to consider restrictions and limits before venturing off.

Fellows Lake
North of Springfield, this fishing opportunity is very popular amongst the angling crowd because of its ideal habitat it provides with timber and vegetation. Occasionally, Muskie's measuring 50 inches will be caught in this 860 acre lake. Interestingly enough, the Muskie fish are found more often at Fellow Lake versus other habitats in Missouri. First stocked in 1996, this lake has grown to have high catch rates and you will often find the size of the Muskie's caught to be about 44 to 45 inches. The brush piles, weed beds, and other natural habitats are actually maintained yearly helping to create ideal fishing.

Henry Sever Lake
Off of Highway KK, residing near the town of Edina, you will find Henry Sever Lake and Conservation area. This Lake itself expands 158 acres while the beautiful conservation totals 1,115 in acreage. Built in 1960, this lake has not been stocked for quite some time, changing the minimum length limit to 36 inches. A very fertile, trophy fish area of Henry Sever Lake can be found off of Highway E, where you will find not only Muskie's but bass, crappie, blue catfish, and more. Enjoy the lakes coves and take advantage of its concrete ramp and fishing jetties. If you need bait, they also offer a full bait shop for the determined fishermen.
